Off to Colchester tomorrow by train to get up there a bit early. Anyone been there before that knows which pub will have the most Gills fans in for the best atmosphere. According to Awaygrounds The norfolk round the corner from the station is an away friendly pub...

I read somewhere yesterday that there is a concourse round the ground that sells beer food and has sky sports.it doesn't say if it's a pub as such though.

Losing is always bad enough….but it is those goals in the last few minutes again. Groan……..is it concentration?
Goal difference counts and 3-0 sounds like a bit of a battering…? I look forward to the reviews later…...

    We lost.
    badly.
    good turn out of supporters.
team got lost and failed to turn up.
played the entire match with cardboard cut-outs.

sorry the swear filter prevents further detail.

I'm normally a person of many words but today I can sum it all up in one word, in regards to the ground and the team tactics...

I listened to the game, and we did sound poor.No shot on target until the last few minutes, which I could hear was greeted with cheers by our fans. How come we could play really well against Wolves, but roll over against Colchester? I suppose it is typical Gills beating the best, and losing to poorer Teams, but we have beaten most of the sides around us this season.I think it`s not the result that frustrates us,but the manner of the defeat. No real chances in the game.I feel sorry for the 936 fans that made the journey.Hopefully this is just a one off performance,as we have Swindon up next.

Oh dear........blame the ref? blame the pitch? But it sounds more like a case of back to square one, again! Just when we were allowing ourselves
a cautious modicom of optimism as well. PT must have gone home and wept on his pillow....and then eaten it !!!

Honestly, the worst performance this season by far, even Wolves away was better. Just absolutely gutless, only Nelson deserved the applause he got at the end.
