Well to be perfectly honest, at 70 years of age, I'd be inclined to say yes.

There's one hell of a load of pressure on any manager trying to run a successful football team, pressure which no amount of experience or age can help to diminish in any way.

Older people tend to get set in their ways and refuse to take on board new ideas, concepts, methodologies and work practices, and as we all know - if you stand still in football, you've scuppered yourself for a good few years.

Aging also buggers up your memory and concentration, let alone the need to take frequent naps <laugh>

So I think you're downplaying his age a bit. Just my honest opinion.

Thats probably the reason why The Govan Gob will fail to match Sir Robert ''Bob'' Paisleys 3 European Cups.

Thats unless he's caught driving on the hard shoulder,Its highly unlikely he'll get off with the same excuse he did the last time,He said he had the runs.

Fair enough but with experience also the knack of dealing with pressure usually comes. So yes I think experience may not deminish the pressure but it certainly heps to cope with it.

One of Fergie things he always gets praised for is changing with the times. If he hadn't United would have stopped being so successful.

I don't mind your opinion sir. It's better than mindless crap like ' United has the worst midfield in europe'

12 of those he won himself, and is seemingly continuing to do so.

Any more useless bile to spout about him? Or do you actually want to accept his accomplishments, and showing no signs of slowing down?

Your midfield was exposed by Blackpool and Wolves at home so what does that tell you?

They do have the worst central midfield in Europe, they got off lightly until a team actually swarmed around them.Liverpool did to their joke central midfield whay Barcelona did.Did Fergie learn from the thumping Liverpool gave United at Anfield...the answer is no.
We were managed at the time by Roy Hodgson when we were beaten by those,However I would like to see either tackle Liverpool with Kenny in charge, before you mention the league game against Blackpool,Kenny was five minutes into the job.

Joking aside, it could become dangerous if he does start to lose it a little bit "upstairs" but is too stubborn to realise it himself and gracefully step down.

Is there anyone else at OT man enough to tell him what would be painfully obvious to outsiders?

Respect and liking are two different things. Fergie dislikes Liverpool, if he didn't respect them he wouldn't have set their achievements as the benchmark would he ?

Barca are now the Liverpool of then, if Liverpool dominated Europe like Barca will now, it is hardly a fault, United had their shot, 3 finals in 4 years with 1 lucky slip win on pens that Liverpool are so criticized for in 2005 for winning on pens by Mancs and failed to make it into that group, a fail is a fail is a fail.

A team with the worst midfield in europe doesn't reach the CL final. ****tard.

What exactly have this Liverpool team done to earn his respect? That's right, F'all.

He lost a bit upstairs when he said ''the better team lost'' after a 4-1 drubbing at home.

I don't think you will find one Liverpool fan deluded enough to agreed with you.

This United midfield has got to the champions league final 3 out of 4 years. Won the league again and you dismiss them like you do ? I thought we could only post 'sensible posts' KPR ?
