Given how severely depleted we were tonight, I thought we gave a decent account of ourselves, especially in the second half. As for them ****ing English commentators going on and on about us parking the bus, well what the **** did you expect? Nearly half of our first XI were missing through injury and it was that bad, we ended up having to start with Stevie Davis at the back! Ach well, Diddy Vase it is, but I've got alot of pride in how they played their hearts out and as for the supporters tonight? Well in the words of Andy Gray - take a bow lads, you were ****ing magnificent
I watched the game on Internet with English commentators (not sure which site) and they were both more or less saying the gers were playing the right way, frustrating M.U. and creating chances when they had the occasion. They were neutral and said it was a great game. We played well and have nothing to be ashamed about.
It was Man Utds best team bar Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand a great effort with half a team out The target was 3rd and thats acheived!
Don't think we were playing for a draw, I think we were just trying to nick a goal. We've been too wasteful with the chances we did have at Ibrox versus Valencia and Man U. If we're going to play that way, we need to capitalise on whatever chances we do get.
Mick, I couldn't believe that either. A draw and a defeat meant the same thing, but we stuck Beattie on in 88 minutes. Think if anything, it shows just how shallow the Rangers squad is.
A glorious failure for Rangers. Rangers missed a chance last night to beat Man U ... Davis was too far back - he should have been pushed much further forward in eth 2nd half to support Miller!
