Supposedly two of the best British midfielders in terms of passing in Carrick and Fletcher (both hugely over rated) and they can't keep hold of it. At home.

United are absolutely nothing without Rooney to carry them and even then, their midfield is still dire.

Keep it up, agent Moyes. You're doing a fantastic job.

Ages ago when RVP first got injured I posted a #poll on the Manc board asking if he had played his last game for Man Utd. Once again the Mancs confuse unwanted truths for WUMery, just like they did with their crap midfield last year.

Can mods see (and bump <whistle>) deleted threads?

  4. We can only see deleted comments/threads on the board we mod.

    Man Utd 1-0 up, Valencia

Can someone explain to Swansea there is no point passing down the wing if you then never put a cross in and instead go backwards?

Swansea never turned up tonight and made the mancs look better than they are, Laudrup put his eggs all in one basket with the FA Cup.

We've been saying all week that we need to win tomorrow- nothing's changed.
We can't go looking to others to drop points all the time (although we all will, at some stage, obviously).
We have to stand or fall by our own performances, not those of others.

In the first half of the season we won our own games then worried about what everyone else was doing. It worked quite well for us, we should just keep doing that. What you find is if you win the majority of your games then other teams end up dropping points anyway.

Gives them a false sense of confidence heading into next week.

Without RVP and Rooney they don't have a prayer at the Bridge. They really need to pray for those two to come back and another Clattenburg-esque performance otherwise they'll be completely overrun in midfield by Ramires, Oscar, Willian, Hazard and Luiz.

Indeed, after one win the BBC have declared their front page headline "Man Utd return to winning ways" <laugh>

Phil McCunty has been taken off suicide watch
