606 discussing foreign managers like Pochettino and Mel getting jobs at Saints and West Brom ahead of British candidates. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_five_live
I do agree that it is a shame that foreign managers get considered for PL jobs when similar British managers are available, but don't consider that applies to Mauricio. Cortese wanted Saints to play in this way...is there a British manager who would choose to play like this and have the charisma to convince our lads to do it? Genuine question.
Bloke just phoned in and said "two words about British managers that puts people off... Sam Allardyce." He's a West Ham fan as well! Then said "If Big Sam is the poster boy, then I am the postman."
Right now, no, not that I can think of. At an absolute push, Hoddle might have the nous and have looked at how Martinez/Pochettino set up and could take that on. That's about it.
He hasn't shaved them off has he? I was just beginning to enjoy his longer hair again. Foreign players look good with a hair band or pony tail...they can carry it off.
I know a lot of people get stick for it on here, but the atmosphere today was brilliant! Really helped the lads when they needed it, hope this can continue into our next games, think we can string some results together.
Generally agree except for the ball that Nathan chested down about two feet off the pitch that she missed. At least the fault was in our favour. As to the game, I refer back to something I've said before; when Rickie's off his best, so are we. He's not been right for a few games - I'm just hoping that a more reasonable match schedule will give him time to get it back. Vin
As things stand I am (still) really looking forward to Osvaldo getting a run of three or four games (at least) to see if he can step up into that role.

I thought Ramirez looked weird with his hair like that, his hair normally looks all right. Going to have to google "corn rows"!
I still want to see it again. I wasn't sure if it was Artur's brilliance or if the ball was hit straight at him.
