I'm sure you've got credible proof of this yes? Thought not. And probably trying to avoid doing what Warnock did and burn out a young player...everytime Byram has played 90 mins he'd been out for the next two weeks he's obviously trying to ease him back into the starting 11.

He's already doing that. Do you think he came over to the fans today again to applaud them just to rub it in, or do you think he came over to really breath it in and let it sit with him and drive him to do better?

He came over cos he didn't want the team to face the Rochdale experience. I won't be too upset if he also came over to say goodbye.

We are also lacking momentum and havent been able to build any for years, so when a bad result hits the wobble becomes the norm far more easily

What!! i would expect him and players to do that anyway. I am saying I hope he learns from his mistakes, yes we all make mistakes, and i havent mentioned anything about sacking him. Just think that he had few oppertunities to REST players even though they shouldnt need too and field some others and see what there capable of thats all. Its also hard to stop a negative slide, so he will need to make some tough choices now. I still think we need our core strenghting.
Again this just my opinion not an attack on you

Sheffield Wednesday has 6 first team players missing, they are suffering at the bottom end of the table.

We were already losing 2-0 and were looking awful before the sending off, we would have still lost.

Why are some people looking for even an ounce of positiveness out of this?

The same people who searched and sniffed out a bit after our defeat against Rochdale.

The same ones who tried to find comfort after we lost at home to Blackburn and Forest and we couldn't score against bottom team Barnsley.

    No wins in 6

This manager has signed 9 players, virtually a whole new team, more backing than Grayson or Warnock, I supported him and I have given him a year to get it right, he has failed.

A QUESTION TO THOSE MORE POSITIVE THAN I - When do you say it is time for a change of manager, at what point of the season do you say he isn't the man for the job? Do you give him the whole season and if you do where do you believe we shall finish?

Done it on the thread I started.

In short I think McDermott has lost the plot, Haigh has destabilised the club.

When we start signing your nothing special, we lose every week, you know something is very very wrong.

Good players don't lose 6-0. Teams getting to play offs don't lose 6-0. We were deluding ourselves until Christmas, on the field we have made no progress, and mac dee is no Mourinio

We do need our core strengthening. He clearly has no faith in half the squad he's inherited

It makes a better balance when some are more positive than others, I don't mind that and it is all opinions at the end of the day, I just wish I could find even one positive after the last month. Even when I disagree with people I can see the point they are making, I might not agree but I am not blind and I can often see where they are coming from but not today, I can't see beyond my nose when it comes to anything positive after watching that.

    I'm back (yay)

I'm just trying to think when it all started going wrong...

Could it be when the players were made to train Christmas day?

It doesn't take much to knock someones confidence...

If you had given Alex Ferguson a year he would of failed, If you had given Brendan Rodgers a year he would of failed, If you gave Alan Pardew a year (well judged him on most of this season and last season) he would of failed. Yet one created a footballing dynesty, one has created one of the Premier leagues most exciting teams and one was last months Manager of the Month. Up until a month a go we looked like we was strengthening our place in the play-offs are you really going to make a such a decision on one month?!

Would training on crimbo day make someone want to play for their boss?

Would been made to stand in the middle of the pitch by the boss and taking dogs abuse make you want to play again?

Would been forced to play a meaningless friendly that served no purpose on a piss wet through Wednesday night make you want to pull up trees for the team?

Would seeing one of your colleagues on bigger money than you constantly fecking off around the world every time someone dug a hole in the ground make you feel good about yourself?

You getting this yet, please don't as naive as you other mod mate!

Let's face it I blame my wife, today our 26th wedding anniversary and this morning she says to me which team Leeds will lose to today. I nearly threw her out of bed.
We are better off staying at this Div. we are not a big club anymore. We can't attract good players because we have no money.

Cojones ... I support you on this ... McD is the right manager for us, and we'll thankfully see most of the dross off our books in June so he will be better placed to rebuild ... we never got the chance to see the 4-4-2 work because of the red card ... nothing wrong with his starting tactics today, the only problem was that Pugh and Peltier were incapable of bringing Stewart and Kebe into the game, and Austin/Mowatt simply failed to get forward and link play ... McD can only do so much with what he has available
