    Hmmm, he also predicted that Everton would win 17-0 (yes, seventeen), that Palace would win away to Spurs and Villa will beat Arsenal. I think we're doomed!

    I have a feeling that we are going to go deeper into the mire. Can't see us beating City, unless the gods really are on our side, then it's away to West Ham who got a good result today despite playing with 10 men. This will give them a big lift for our game and with Andy Carroll coming through ok what's the betting he'll get his come back goal against us.
    If my gut feeling comes to fruition it'll be 5 straight losses, then away to Norwich before the Mackems, who are playing out of their skins at present. It is not out of the realms of possibility that come the end of Jan we could be on a 7 straight loss run.
    I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but then nothing the Toon do surprises me. Here's hoping we can get some signings to freshen things up.
