please log in to view this image New signings Cameron Stewart and Jimmy Kebe are expected to be named in the starting line up to face the Owls at Hillsborough on Saturday. I would expect Byram to move to right back and drop Murphy to the bench as Leeds search for their first win in the last five attempts. Pearce and McCormack will face late fitness tests are picking up knocks at Rochdale last week. This will be the first time in a long that Leeds will have width. This will give McDermott options to change his formation, though would expect McDermott to play a 4-4-2 formation with Smith and McCormack (if he recovers from his knock) up front. Wednesday have recalled striker Caolan Lavery from his loan spell at Plymouth, whilst fellow on loan striker Connor Wickham is almost guaranteed to return to the starting line up having been cup tied last weekend.
After the low point of Rochdale and the start of the good news this week, is it time for 30 mins of We Are the Champions, Champions of Europe!

I sense you are not buying into Haighs rhetoric. It's Matchday and for now I believe every word. If by 12.30 things appear differently I will be less positive.
Gh, my judgement will be based on the on field team performances. Not around to watch today's live but have it recorded for analysing later. All I'll say is 100% improvement is required! Kebe a huge help! not sure about stewart. I will be interested in what yourself and shaks say afterwards having been at game
Today will come down to: Half an hour of mayhem; The new guys find out what its like to play in front of x000 Leeds fans making an absolute racket; Hopefully Austin ruling the roost in midfield and we finally settle down to proper on the floor footy with crosses coming in left, right and centre End result 0-0!!!! or maybe Smith will get a hat trick!!!!
I reckon it'll be a case of same old same old as we still have no leaders on the pitch. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong but Zaliukas apart we don't seem to have any strong characters. An army can have the best soldiers but they're only as good as the Generals that lead them. The last time we were promoted to the top flight we had the likes of Vinnie Jones, Mel Sterland and Strachan. Our next signings need to be of that ilk.
What a strange looking team Kenny Zaliukas Pearce Lees Peltier Pugh Austin Mowatt Stewart Kebe McCormack I would not have had the 3 centre backs - drop Lees, flat back four, Austin (if he has to play!) just in front as defensive midfielder, and put in another centre midfielder alongside Mowatt I juts think we have an attacking and a defensive team, but no midfield. Unless.....Pugh is playing as a midfielder and we do have a flat back four with Lees at left back, which would be daft, when we have Drury and Warnock
No punches this time then from 15 min wannabes? Tough one this one, not as if we need any help against teams near to us anymore!
