You had a virus not long ago didnt you? Was you getting loads of ads?

Like I say, there are the normal ads on here but I was getting more popping up, nothing like dicks and stuff but for Argos and betfair and **** like that

I was getting pop-ups yes. The site had malware somewhere in the database. Do you get the issue on other parts of this forum (ie, another teams boards?) or on other websites? It only really happened to me when I went into threads too.

Have you tried a system restore to two or three days ago (or before it started happening) just in case its your machine?
 
I use Firefox with Adblock Plus and it works great. No ads, website still work.
 
No scanned the com nothing found I have free AVG

And everytime I clicked onto anything here and a couple of other sites but not all there were 3 appearing each time, one sky scraper ad down the left and a banner and button ads all across bottom and bottom right

Im just weary of logging into bank sky bet etc

Oh s it was the site I thought your son had downloaded something

Much prefer firefox to Chrome

Daft question but you dont have to pay for ad block or anything do you? It says make a donation if you wish

Its already blocked 476 ads <yikes>

Sounds similar to what I got only you're getting it on other sites too which suggests its not this forum. Try a system restore, only takes ten to fifteen minutes and is dead easy to do.

You wouldn't lose everything. If you restore from three days ago then you lose things you have done in the last three days, two and two, and so on.
