Yes, we've beaten the scum, city, ston, everton away (never happens), manure at home, still in the fa cup, semi final of league cup winning at half time, we love our gaffer and chairman, they are defeated 3 games on the trott with some real bitch fixtures coming up, cashley hates the club At this point in the season with our remaining fixtures Big fat f**king yes from me like Haaaaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaay! Ps add in chelsea and our current form
When we are safely in mid table with a Wembley win against man City behind us, then come back and ask me the same question..
We're bottom and won nothing yet. No brainer that they're having a better season than us but could all change in the next few months.
season - no. not yet. Up to now - yes. Joke bought no-one but look where they are in the league. It must be a peculiar feeling for them to have slagged him off yet he`s been proved right. Either that or, he`s been completely pissed, slept through the window and been plain lucky. Anyone with the time and no-how to do a comparison without the contribution of Mr Remy?
I am going to stick my neck out and say were going to finish within a place of Newcastle this season. I have been wrong before though
At the moment, no. Win the league cup, then regardless of what we do, you will have had a better season.
No one can say what sort of season any team will have in January as no gongs or wooden spoons are handed out this early. As an interim report, we are not having as good a season as 19 other clubs because we currently prop the league up but thats not to say this is where it will all end up. In another 18 league games, hopefully 2 more successful League Cup games and who knows 6 more successful FA Cup games, both our season and everyone elses will be over and then we can really compare and pass comment. By then, a season that promised much back in August, delivered so little (or nothing to be frank) early on could end up being one of the best seasons in living memory. The transverse of that of course is it could be a complete washout and a massive disappointment. At the half-way mark the dirty nag beaters have their noses well out in front in the league but now of course have absolutely no chance of surpassing our cup exploits this campaign, whatever the results going forward are, whereas we can certainly still have a major season changing influence in the remaining 18 league games. Its never dull and its always divisive but then would we have it any other way? Its our way and we go again tomorrow in the capital.
Grow some??? I believe the question was are we having a better season than Newcastle was it not? Newcastle are a very solid 8th in the table we are bottom. The cups are a lottery as we proved in '73. Would I swap our position for theirs?....Every ****ing day.
