I won't after all the insults, arrogance and blind belief that they were some mighty club through the championship season. Even Manure and Chelsea fans don't belittle Saints as much as they did that season.

I want them down, embarrassed and stuck there for years to kick some humility into their big heads and by the time they come back up we will have probably won more trophies than them (how many. lol) and have more than 3 players in the England World Cup squads.

Either way they've never finished as high in the league as us.

I did feel bad when I saw a shot of the crowd as notts forest scored their 3rd, focusing on a Small child crying. But no, this thread is trixters. He created it for us to sensibly discuss our teams relative progress. So let's do so.

I'll leave you in the words of someone far wiser than I, trixy "where are you, where are you? Let's be avin you!"

The mentality behind this thread being started is one of the reasons I'd love to see them go down and not come back for several years.

Wow! One good season - well, a good start to a season at least, and just listen to yourself!

Man, are you stuck in reverse gear all of a sudden.

Trixter, suck it up man. You have continually come on the Saints Board to lord it up and at times, behaved like a total WUM. Just be a man and take it because I think you truly deserve it.

If anyone needs to "listen to themselves." it is you.

I was referring to Saints have finished second years ago compared to West Ham's best of third years ago.

Most of us don't go on as if we are some major player massive club like West Ham fans do. We are pretty smug at the moment in the way our club is being progressively run from the top down and can only see it benefiting us over the years but I was there supporting my team when we got relegated twice. I was nearly heartbroken when we were days away from going out of existence. I was there when Liebherr didn't just buy us and pay pennies in the pound. He paid all debts in full and I have been there all the way through our rise.

Some of the 'premier newcomers' may give it the large one but we know we are small in terms of wages and that the only way we can compete is by utilising the best academy in British football (maybe European football.)

And we have had bad injury crisis in our team too. Difference being that we have played attractive football and picked up points throughout. And our manager has just got on with things rather than concentrating on getting players to shift agents to line his pockets whilst constantly moaning about injuries.

I've nothing against WHU, but take exception to football according to big Sam. Surely it is obvious that the hoof and win the second ball philosophy is not going to win anything, but with the reintroduction of Carroll and Nolan we can guess where its going. The proponents of this philosophy have employed it as a way of surviving rather than prospering in the top division. The general increase in the skills deployed in most teams is making such tactics less and less successful. The other factor is that as my old Dad used to say, 'Mud is a great leveller', premiership grounds don't deal in mud anymore so football on the ground is possible throughout the season. Indeed, most of the modern stadia manage to nullify the effects of all but the strongest winds.
