Just been at a gig supporting a mate's band. The last band on had an ex-member of Gallows (pretty big band). Almost everyone cleared out before the last band came on. It was so embarrassing for them.

 

Strange you two should be contemplating this, as I have been considering knocking it on the head. My prolific posting of messages on the site is not what I was put on the planet for, and seeing some of you lot the other day [OK, not you two] pathetically trying to beat each in a bid to win Beefy's thread, made me realise that, although it's winter, there are other things to do than posting messages on a football forum. So I might be taking a more reading and monitoring stance for the time being.

 

TSS...you only think you can leave...you are actually in one of the circles of hell. Not too bad...if you'd been really naughty, you would be trapped in Saintsweb.

The thing is you probably notice certain people posting on here at all hours of the day and picture them sitting at their computers wasting their lives, but actually you've got things like smartphones which make it so easy to do this stuff that you can live a full life and still have all the time in the world to piss around on websites like this. I've done quite a lot this week but if you looked at my posting history you might find it hard to imagine that was possible. In reality this for me is just an alternative to wasting time on something like Facebook instead, which is something even the most active and fulfilled of people do.

I have a larger than average interest in football and I'm the only Southampton supporter I know. There's no better way to pursue that interest than this website, as far as I'm aware. And it takes up like 1% of my daily life.

 

Same, I am never on the computer when I am on here. I always use my phone, so it's just as quick as sending a txt.

 

Crikey, that's a little defensive. Imagine if I'd had actually aimed it at you.

Anyways back to Katie Hopkins, she said disable people should get a benefits cut. She said most disabled people aren't even disabled and go on cruises etc.

 

Not defensive at all it's just an observation. I often think people must spend a ridiculous amount of time just sitting at their computers doing this, then I realise that doesn't have to be true at all. In fact I think most regular posters on here have full time jobs.

Its only when I am at my full time job I am on here, six hours to go...

In my first job I finished at 3-4am that was bad enough.

 

Yeah 12 hour shifts 2 days 2 nights and 4 off. The 4 off are pretty good though, don't think I could fit everything in to a 2 day weekend.

Yeah, they seemed to be pretty used to it, but for me it was crazy seeing this guitarist, who I'd seen in music videos and who had toured America at one point, playing in front of about 15 people. It must be tough for him.

 

You can check out any time you like ,but you can never leave.........

 

If that happens that will be the end of humankind.

Humans will have to stop breeding and their genes will stop intermingling with a fall off in the resistance to viruses and infections. Don't kid yourself that doctors can keep up with the evolution of viruses etc.

Just accept if you make it to 100 then well done and after that reconcile yourself to pushing up the daisies.
