What are your opinions on Celtic football club and their supporters sometimes hardline views of anti-Britain? I have no problem with them being proud of their Irish heritage and their displays of green, White and gold. What I can't stand is the Ultra groups who are not only repulsed at anything associated with Great Britain but they also pollute the minds of younger followers by holding Irish history lessons. Is there any other supporter group in the UK that does this? Last November we all got a glimpse of these people and their views on footballers wearing a poppy on their shirt. But at least the rememberence day minutes silence was a lot better observed than the year befores embarrassment. Come the end of the current season Celtic announced that the waving of union flags towards Celtic fans in an old firm game was provoking the fans and could have caused trouble. So are Celtic the most anti-British club in the world?
Possibly, but they are simply a shower of deluded wee fannies who are anti everything. It usually happens with small clubs who win the odd minor trophy now and again.
Hmmm, lets think. Are there any clubs out there who for 123 years have thought they are oirish instead of Scottish? Fly the tricolour before the saltire or union jack? Whose greatest ever captain himself said "This is an oirish club that just happens to play in Scotland"? A club which consistently puts up with fans displaying anti-poppy banners. Anyone.....?
Celtic should relocate to their homeland and then they may catch up with Rangers impressive Title haul. It makes sense really, even to the paranoid delusional ones I should think.
- Are we the ones embarrassing Britain by going abroad, singing bigoted songs and getting censured by UEFA? - Are we the ones that went to another British city and destroyed the place, beating up Her Maj's police along the way? Trust me, no club has done more to tarnish the image of Britain than Rangers Football Club
what do you expect really? If I was a tim I doubt I would fly a union jack although the anti-poppy malarky really was a disgrace, the singing through the minutes silence aswell was ****ing digusting.
