He had a gun. he was being followed by armed police. He got shot. Your "friends" (who don't have guns) smoking a bit of pot is irrelevant to this debate as armed police are not interested in them.

I would be equally as pissed off, actually even more pissed off if there was no media coverage. Moat seemed to get away with things pretty smoothly though, strange eh? He shot a policeman in the face, attacked several other people and was actually holding a gun. Yet he gets a standoff, Gazza, booze and fried chicken?
