Whoops, how could I forget Frankel like that especially considering he is the second leg of my double <doh> Re above clash I've always said I would go against the grain and stick my neck out and stick with Canford and what I've seen there would increase my belief...

Back to today and I'm just hoping Frankel goes out again and to use Queally's expression 'makes a show of them'.

Reportedly Peslier put up a pound overweight on Goldikova (not that it cost her the race) but the guy who supposedly rides Ascot brilliantly should have stayed off the pies on his way to the track.

Doubtless one victory on ground that was not fast will now have KS telling us that Canford Cliffs’ preference for fast ground is a myth because it is a myth for Goldikova.

No bets for me today, just enjoying the fantastic racing at Royal Ascot. Way to go Prohibit, what a sprint that was, and a real triumph for Robert Cowell and Jim Crowley. Very pleased that Overdose too returned to form with a very good run to finish 4th...............

Just on ratings really he looked pretty consistent OR has been 112 last few races 116 RPR not the best ratings in the race; in fact he finished behind 2 of them at Haydock he had a good race after though. Plus it was an open race anyway!!!

If Olivier Peslier weighed in two pound overweight then he must have weighed out two pounds overweight or he would have been disqualified by the Clerk of the Scales. It’s not been a great three days for the Frenchman.

I am not sure why on the BBC website it states “Canford Cliffs upsets Goldikova”. On the ratings there was only a couple of pounds between them, he was not some 100/1 outsider.

weighed out 1lb overweight and 2lbs coming back. He changed his boots after weighing out, and got fined £650 for it.

Phew, Frankel went early but I guess Queally had little option? He's a miler, that is for sure, Henry Cecil and Khaled Abdullah were so right in this respect..........

I'll not crow too much, it's merely money that's been recovered since Epsom weekend <ok>
