http://goo.gl/QehTmZ Leeds United Supporters Trust Statement - Thursday 9th January 2014. A Trust Statement By now, the board of the Trust had hoped to be able to share with our members, as promised, the full story of the events of 2012 as they happened. Before we can do this, we need to be sure that everyone involved has completed their business, and that there can be no repercussions for anyone involved from telling our story. During this past autumn we began working in earnest with our friends at The Square Ball to tell the story through the medium of a free to all podcast, with the aim of having this ready before Christmas. As most of you will be aware, however, various legal actions began late last year between several of the people involved in the takeover process of 2012, due to disputes arising from that process. We have sought legal opinion and been advised that our plans for the podcast should be put on hold, at least until these cases have progressed through the courts and been concluded. We realise that this will disappoint many of our members, and we can only apologise for that, but we hope you will all understand why this has to be our position for the time being. Many thanks for your continued support. Gary Cooper Chairman, Leeds United Supporters Trust
Gary, I have been actively voting against LUST but I have forgiven you because the past cannot be changed ... for me LUST and yourself will prove their credibility by what happens in the future ... I am finally over the Bates era and believe we should bury it and leave it where it belongs, forgotten forever ... I would prefer hearing lots of positives from LUST going forward and a great vibe being created that helps to grease the wheels and push us all on together as a happy family ... great post mate and thanks for your words all of which i agree with. we have supported the new owners very publically both in the social media and local media and whilkst they continue to do the good work they are doing that will not change. as a trust we are bound to keep a scritinous eye on whats happening at our club but the owners understand and accept that and our relationship is stronger for it. there are good times to come at LUFC and i hope we all support the cause and enjoy them
i did enjoy the railway children but would take Jenny Agutter everyday of the week over him, good old Bernard
We have waited well over a year for LUSTs version of events to be published. I am sure we can wait another three for all the legal **** to be sorted. It's all irrelevant now in any case. Gary whilst Haigh is tickling your balls can you tell him to stop fecking twittering and start buying. He has courted the positive pr long enough and we are sick of it. He needs to deal or feck off. We both know you can always introduce another buyer to LUFC! Tory fat boys are two a penny ( him not you)! If you are struggling to find rich investors google Jonathon Ackworth he has hundreds of good contacts. Cheers
Gary, a little bit off topic, but we all saw how the Leeds fans were getting man handled by the Nottingham Forest stewards last month. Do you know if anything has been done about this?
The names and addresses of said stewards have been obtained and suitable retribution will be carried out in due course
Yes there is a Police investigation taking place following a string of complaints which our members have contributed to amongst many other LUFC fans, we have also raised our concerns directly with Notts F who will assist the investigation fully. If LeedsinEssex's mates get there first no comment
a couple of the points you make i did discuss with DH on New Years Day mate and i think he gets the message loud and clear
