She also claimed that her son had just got accepted into a school. So I'm presuming he is turning 4 and is going to school in September. However, a lot of the City player's kids go to the same school were I worked at for a while, so I don't think they'd have trouble getting him in. It's a very strange tweet considering he was all for the move just a few months ago.
Its a daughter and I dont think it is 4. Im not an expert on that as I dont have kids but it seems small for 4 years. I assumed it was like a day care type thing. Your point that they could just get into a new school is valid. They are rich after all. It isnt like rich people have a hard time finding schools for their kids. I think she only recently got married to him and the first child is not his. A new kid on the way, a new wife who is now in more of a position to dictate where her husband moves their growing family to. I mean that just isnt strange, even a girl friend would have pull on that type of thing let alone a wife expecting a child. Ill say this she puts far, far, far to much **** on twitter. How anyone can know that much after glancing at someones twitter for 30 seconds is beyond me. He really should have a convo with her about putting their life online like that.
Ahh I'm not sure whether a boy or a girl. But "@namilloh @Rhiannehill89 dnt no! just said to S with getting T school placement etc it not worth it when Shane's happy at WBA & settled xx" Sounds like they have just secured her place in a school. She does seem to put a lot on twitter, especially something so fragile as a transfer which I'm guessing could change from one day to another. He should tell her to just keep quiet and text her "best friends" instead. **** knows why best friends would communicate over twitter.
I guess its like the new facebook. Girls used to put everything on there and talk about everything. I had a terrible time in college with girls putting **** on my facebook profile and then having to delete it so other girls wouldnt read it. It was like after every fratenity party I had a dozen photos of me doing beer bongs or taking shots. Then you got girls talking about hooking up on your profile. Was terrible. I am guessing that twitter is the new facebook for the young kids.
If a woman marries a footballer she should accept there will be a lot of upheaval, much the same as when one partner is in the forces. I don't go with all this PC "I'm so in touch with my feminine side" ****. What would she tell him to do if he got an offer from Barcelona?
To be fair there is a bit of a difference between Barcelona and Hull. Barcelona hasn't got a City Of Culture award for a start...
I was with you until " he has a contract for a year and a half". No - it is 6 months then a further 12 option in favour of the club. Also, there is no rwal issue involved in playing for city and having a family base near birmingham, as proved by Aluko, Davies, Bruces et al. And the finances of football in allowing second pads, resettlement fees, subsidised lodgings etc.... It ain't done til it's done but all this twitter crap equates to an auctioneer whos about to drop the hammer for me. Of course I could be wrong.... ....this sounds like pressurizing contract talks to me.
True, but as I understand it her reasoning relates to being settled where they are rather than a dislike of Hull or anywhere else.
Either way I'll expect we'll know by lunchtime today. Would be great if we could get him signed, major target sorted early would take pressure off us for this month.
When I was seven my family emigrated to Australia. My mother didn't say hold everything little Craigy's not been in school long. Kids have to be looked after, but families (especially footballer's families) have to do what's best long term.
My family moved all the time to when I was little so I get your point. Still, rich people can do whatever they feel like. The best thing long term for your parents doesnt necessarily equate to the best thing long term for people like them. They are already rich, could be that an extra 5 grand or something a week isnt enough insentive.
Sorry, your point doesn't make sense. Money doesn't come into it. It's part and parcel of being a footballer that you have to relocate regularly. WBA may accept an offer for him in the summer and then they will be forced to move anyway. If he wants a job where he can settle in one place and watch his kids grow up he should think about a different career.
People aren't reading the tweets right, they don't live in Birmingham. Someone copied a tweet "might be moving further, Birmingham is far enough!" Which suggests they live south of Birmingham. Probably somewhere in Berkshire at a wild guess as he was probably in that area from his time in reading and a commute from there to Birmingham is a piece of piss up the usually dead m40, so he probably decided to stay put when signing for WBA. Also having just had a look on her twitter myself, she was definitely up the duff when the deal fell through before as she's just been in for the final scan. Remember women often don't show anything til between 3 and 6 months.
The point can make sense. He has a contract for 6 months with the club having an option to pick it up for another year. They will pick up the extra year because they wont want him to leave on a free. So there is really no incentive other than money for them to move. Yes clearly eventually they will have to move he plays football but that does not mean he has to move now. There has to be a reason to move. First team football, extra money etc with money being the factor that makes most footballers move. Your parents and my parents were most likely not rich to a point where money can play less of a factor. That is my point, that your point about your parents is not neccesarily valid.
I feel like I should have put *sarcasm after my post as you seemed to have missed it. Obviously he would move to Barcelona.
