Could that have been the sticking point in the summer? Allam was very keen on having everyone live in the area at the time, as I remember.
To be fair, her husband is easily earning upwards of £15k/wk, what other kind of world is she going to be living in?
I don't know, but where's Fryatt commuting from these days? I thought he'd bought somewhere down Leicester way.
She put a bunch of photos up on the 5th of this month of a baby shower they had. You could see why she might not want to move and told him she didnt want him to accept a deal with us.
Kayleah? By the way didn't I break your heart? Please excuse me, I never meant to break your heart So sorry, I never meant to break your heart But you broke mine
It was either them missing out on Lukaku and Clarke pulling the plug, or us changing the payment structure of the fee. Either way I don't think anyone has suggested terms weren't agreed with Long (until now obviously).
I know that there was issues with Steve Clarke and the Lukaku deal falling through, but I thought that West Brom had tried to claim we moved the goalposts. It never made sense to me that, as was suggested, Allam would have tried to revise a previously agreed offer down. If we got upto the medical deal, and our guys said, "So now you'll just have to find a place in East Yorkshire" - and he had her indoors waiting for him. Under normal circumstances, something would be negotiated through, but we were into last hour of the transfer window. Burnsey certainly thought that negotiations were ongoing at 10.30pm.
