You could take on 6 players, play four one twos and then give a perfect pass to someone who simply slots it across for the other striker and you still wouldn't get the assist. Pure stats aren't everything and I think with his ability he would do well for us, doesn't look like it's happening though so don't worry.

If I was Shane, and this is the case, I'd be very pissed off with this. Making personal details like this clear isn't going to help him negotiate the best deal for himself either with us or West Brom. I thought he was coming up to being out of contract?

People keep saying that but it isnt true. He is only out of contract if WBA dont pick it up for another year. Which they clearly will as they wont want him to leave on a free. So the reality is that he has another season left there.
To be fair he's not doing that is he? A true stat is he played in WBA first three games this season & not only did he not score neither did WBA. I may be wrong but I think he's scored in 2 games this season. I've said previously if he comes he gets my support, I just don't think he's the player we need.
