I feel sorry for the West Ham keeper.

Big Sam - pre-match: "It's only the first leg tonight and not like a normal cup tie when you win or lose on the night."

He's the only reason this wasn't 10-0. Easily their MotM despite conceding six.

The fans calling for Allardyce's head but it would make no sense to sack him tonight with Cardiff in three days time.

What does poor old Sam do in the second leg? Obviously they can't win so he can't risk his best? players, but if he plays his youth again they're gonna lose 12 - 0. Dilemma!

    It won't be Sam's choice.

Two West Ham fans and football reporters just grilled David Sullivan for five minutes or so.

    The outcome?

"Just confronted David Sullivan. He said it's £4m to sack Sam and he can't see a better alternative. He was as pissed off as me."

I'm not sure who you'd replace allardyce with tbh.

Who could get more out of that team than him? They are all Big Sam players (cloggers.) If Mckay/Clarke/a good manager came in they would have to try change the philosophy. When the Hammers are this deep in the mire already, I'm not convinced that is the best shout.

Sounds like a bargain to me, and I suspect most WHU fans.

I'm not sure they can attract many managers that are going to keep them up without major strengthening in the window (and wants to sign for them? Apart from on loan). By the time their injury list has cleared up and those players are match fit they have an awful run of fixtures until the end of the season.
