You do this at SJP every year. Three flares or smoke bombs whatever they were. Any amount of spit and coins.
@SEF_MUFC Sunderland safety officer has confirmed that a report about the smoke bomb and flare last night has been sent to the FA. ‪#‎mufc‬ @SEF_MUFC Sunderland have also reported damage to seats and to the fixtures and fittings on the concourses, as well as fire alarms being set off #mufc
I have to say I can't agree having been at the front on the last two occasions. There are loads of police along the front with their backs to the pitch watching your every move ........... the smoke-bomb lad was at the side of me and was arrested in seconds. I don't want to believe either of our clubs supporters are that scummy tbh.
Quite possibly mate, but some of your fans are making a song and dance about it. Seems a bit hypocritical.
hat, you wont find one poster on here or any fan i know who was impressed with the knacker who chucked the flare/smoke bomb from our section into your fans at your place. no place for it
A harmonious rendition of 'By far the greatest team! The world has ever seen! aaaaaaaaaand its Sunderrrrrrland! SUNDERRRRRRRRLAND FC!' by 11,000 fans would be fantastic
I think that being knocked out of the cup, at home, by a relegation candidate would do the job mate ...... in any case they'll all be back on their coaches back to Surrey by the end
Only if them them self have thrown a flare, otherwise by your logic you're being a hypocrite as well I've never thrown a flare so I can condemn it in any way I please.
You have to mate ......... if you don't feel excited until the final whistle of the final game then you can miss out on the reason we're supposed to go.
I was in the north stand, 1st row and just about facing the corner flag in NW corner. After the flare was thrown, a steward walked past me and said "negative, no injuries", so that was a good positive bit of news. Didn't know about the spitting, but I was front row so people in upper tier probs suffered the most from them. It's a shame because support wise, they were terrific and barely stopped singing all night. Spoiled themselves with their behaviour though.
That flare went into row to or three and must have hit someone, and I thought Man u had an embargo on them on less supporters being allowed in ?.
