What exactly does that prove? Except that when Fergie got a job he tried to build and when he had success he tended to stick around: St Mirren - 4 years Aberdeen - 8 years United - too bloody long Maureen is a different kettle of fish altogether: Benfica - less than a year Uniao de Leiria - 18 months Porto - 2 and a half years Chelsea - 3 years Inter - 2 years Real - 3 years .....so you base the assumption that Maureen would remain in the united job many years on what exactly? He'd have settled for the first time ever in sunny Manchester and had a wonderful working relationship with the Glazers and Mr Woodward?
You have got fergies years all wrong. the point is both went through a few clubs. fergie finally settled at United. Mourinho probably would have stayed at Chelsea had it not been for their lunatic owner.
If I'm not mistaken, didn't Maureen start off making cakes at Barca or something trivial until Sir Bobby Robson arrived and Maureeen was appointed his interpreter. Things just fell into place for him after that. In complete contrast SAF started his playing career at 16 and progressed through the Scottish leagues until retiring in '74. There is a complete contrast between the two, SAF knows what is like for a player to be out on the pitch whereas Maureen imagines he does and is lacking that all important component from his knowledge of the game. Personally I'm glad he went to Chelsea, sad though that we hired this muppet Moyes when we should have gone for youth for the modern age, someone like Klopp - just imagine the players he would most likely have brought with him too.
Not exactly. Mourniho was a pro footballer, a **** one ( like wenger ) mind but he did play the game. he then went on to be assistant at 3 clubs. Pretty sure he knows quite a bit about the game. I mean he comes complete with the backing of some of the best names in the game past and present, Fergie included.
Correction accepted but it hardly changes my point does it....St Mirren 4 years, Aberdeen 8, United 27 The point is you are making stuff up in your own head to support an argument that doesn't stack up. Fair enough if that is your opinion but to claim he's Fergie mk2 has absolutely nothing to back it up. IMO he's nothing like Fergie and his career (so far) does back that opinion up.
So Fergie recommended who for the United job? He must rate Maureen reeeeeeally highly to give Moyes the job over him eh
LOL Fergie and Mourinho spoke weeks before SAF retired and SAF sounded him out in a round about way but Mourinho made it clear that the only job he wanted in England was with Chelsea. At least that what Mourinho says. If Moyes was SAF's first choice, then SAF is ****ing barmier than I took him for. Moyes was a decent manager who did okay with Everton, but there were far better managers out there.
i honestly think mike phelan should be re hired.moyes isnt intouch with his self at the mo,never mind the squad.why the board allowed him to change every single member off staff is unreal.at least phelan knows the club and its values?
Fergie left moyes an impossible task, he left knowing that united was past it's sell by date. canny lad that sir alex...
So Mourinho didnt say that? Because I can post a link if you like Shwan. whether any of it is true or not is a different matter. Lol at you accusing someone of being delusional, kind of like Hitzlsperger calling someone a gay boy.
I've heard that Fergus still travels on the away day coaches. Is this true? Massively undermining for Moyes if it is.
Fergie tapped up Moyes ages ago...it was a done deal a long time before Maureen started sniffing around....it was the job he desperately wanted So basically yes, Fergie was even barmier than you thought.
