Think it was a bit of home grown before the police came a knocking

You don't mean to tell me coaches get bricked in Hull - I thought it only happened in Liverpool [yes I am joking].

Idiots abound. No city can claim to be free of them, unless Hull has a zero crime rate and I'm guessing it doesn't. Funny you set 'scallies' in the 60's - mid to late 70's footie fans in Europe bringing back Adidas trainers and the like as street wear no longer sports wear only. Fast forward to today, Lacoste trainers, Burberry cap wearing teens hanging around the streets after school, up to no good. Mindless acts of faceless, random violence e.g. stoning buses. Vicious thugs on the other hand organise rucks after matches and come with knives.

I'm ashamed for my city when I hear events like the recent ones but I can only control my behaviour and not theirs. I don't go armed to the match and don't know anyone who does. I also don't castigate a city or whole group of people based on a sub-human few.

I concur. He also doesn't seem very wound up and appears capable of dismissing Bummers comments, so fair play to him too.

I will be the first to admit that I get throughly p****d off when rival fans slate Hull City afc or the City of Hull so they can make themselves look big to the rest of their forum mates. I will always defend my City. Sometimes (last sunday especially) I had a right run in with some Irish TWS followers.

What I dont get it when an opposing fan comes on and has a good chat and then some idiot fan of ours turns on them for no reason. Johnson has been alright on here so I dont get it. Sadly, this is one of the reasons why I think maybe this forum lark isn't for me.

    Rant over.

    Is this aimed at me?

He said - CATEGORICALLY - that the people who bricked our fans in a callous act werent Liverpool fans. I asked him to explain how he knows this - no more no less. How is that not a reasonable question? I did not 'turn on him for no reason', or act the big 'un, I asked him a perfectly logical question. The fact that he couldnt answer this question also suggests that he's not really 'capable of dismissing Bummers comments' either, he just dodged it cos he knew he didnt have a leg to stand on.

If Ive been out of order in any of my comments to him or displayed any characteristics of 'an idiot fan' in my one-handful of posts on a thread of 68 would somebody care to point out where?

You're welcome on here any time Boris's lad. I think sometimes people take it all a tad too seriously and it's good to hear other Clubs views.

Remind me again what it is you do for a living. <laugh>

Look, he can no more speak on behalf of the Liverpool scrotes than I can speak for ours, but plenty of us 'know' it wasn't City fans that caused bother we were accused of in the past.

As others have said, he seems a decent sort having a bit of banter, he's not the spokesman for Liverpool.

Precisely, that is entirely my point. But he did exactly that when he said they 'werent Liverpool fans'. Perhaps you should be telling him this and not me.

Oh so that comment after asking a perfectly reasonable question that he then dodges makes me 'an idiot fan who turned on him' does it? I dont know the fella but I reckon he can handle being called a tit-end to be honest.

You're words were "you was winding him up".

That is all I am saying "you was the one that was winding him up" but then you called him a tit. I don't get any of that but never mind.
I think i will just read posts and not comment on any in the future.

I sometimes purposefully use was instead of were when I'm trying to act the geezer.

    And vice versa.
