    45 years without a title 1910-1955.
Thats eclipses their 26 year drought from 1968-1993 by some distance.
You are in fact right,Man United do some things better than Liverpool.
Liverpool are also longer consecutively in the top flight.
    Liverpool 1962-2011.49 years consecutive.
    Man United 1975-2011.36 years.consecutive.

That old chestnut? So it's ok for you lot to claim we buy our titles but there is no way at all you had a financial advantage over others?

    Page Moss.
35 years and they have 1,just one title more than us.How are we ever going to overtake them?If they were any good they would have done it sooner.

Why won't it? You have gone 21 years without winning the league what's different now. The funny thing is when you throw things up about not winning the league for 30 years back from 1910-40 or whatever is that nobody on here was alive to see that. Most of you aren't old enough to remember Liverpool winning the league full stop so you are living through it. United's was in the past. How does it feel I can't remember?

35 years to go one title more than Liverpool with all the money you've spent is rather pathetic.
Seeing as Liverpool are effectively debt free(apart from a interest free operating debt of £40 million thats used for transfers and the stadium upgrade),compared to your £600 million debt, plus the money the Glazers borrowed off Qatar. It looks like Liverpool will be overtaking you sooner than you think.

Yeah Liverpool have spent more money than United..

    http://soccerdelirium.com/2010/04/28/net-spend-of-each-premier-league-club/

United have had their best period in their history since the Glazers took over. United are the most profitable club in the world apart from Real Madrid and maybe Barcelona. They will never sink and the debts are manageable. Liverpool haven't been in as much debt as United have in these 21 years and yet United keep winning things. Do you think that United won't be bought out in the near future? What if the Qatari Royal family take over. Then what chance will you have?

The Qatari royal family said they weren't interested in buying an English club.So thats gone.I reckon by 2017,Manchester United will be a distant memory, when the Glazers bankrupt another one of their businesses like they did those two shopping malls in Florida.Anyway that site is 2 years old.It still mentions Man Uniteds winker sale.

Ah yes comparing shopping malls with the world's biggest football club. You know what you are talking about.

Well I predict that FSG or whatever they are called will end up like Hicks and Gillett. A whole lot of promise and then put you in debt. After finishing 5th in 4 consecutive seasons they will leave and Brendan Rodgers will come in as manager, until he gets booed and Laugh-a Benitez comes back to 'save' you.

You're right.Shopping malls aren't the same as the worlds biggest football club.
And the Glazers own Man United.....not Real Madrid.

Ouch. Though I guess it is a massive comfort knowing United and Real Madrid are BOTH much bigger than Liverpool.

    No Real Madrid are.
Man United and their delusional fans think they are. There is a massive difference between ''thinking'' and ''being''.

The wealth associated with a football club - any club - is absolute chicken feed compared to the sort of wealth a shopping mall can generate.
The rest of your post is pure speculative, wishful thinking junk.

I predict you're going to be in serious financial meltdown way before the end of this decade.

Especially as the Glazers are £1.2 Billion in debt..They paid off the PIK's with a loan.

<laugh> Ok then. You lot couldn't handle being in more than half of the debt we are in now. You were sliding towards relegation. We are in the most debt this country has ever seen and we are still moping up the trophies. As for the World...well. United are just another level above Liverpool. <ok>
