The boot room is / was a room, albeit an historic and vital one in the development of the club - as important a place as it was for strategising and planning many famous victories, the people, staff and players that were in it were the key thing.

Ronnie Moran and Roy Evans remained throughout Souness time as manager, Moran took over when Souness had the heart surgery, and Evans succeeded him!

 

I say 'is' because on the tours they do of Anfield now they say that the Press room were the after match interviews are done is the boot room, rather the area were it used to be.
