He favours his right, no doubt. But to say he doesn't have a left foot isn't right (whey). A lot of modern day left midfielders cut inside. How I see it is he has a healthy goal return, built a good understanding with Wiggins, pivotal in our counters and can take the ball away from defence quickly to relieve pressure. Also says something when a promotion chasing side are willing to take him on.
At only 22 (and not 24 as I was mistakenly thinking), he could be worth a punt if Powell thinks he can develop him, but I think we could spend the money better elsewhere. Of course, if we are now awash with cash, we could do both.
Although by all means, if we are signing players left, right and centre ! Lets sign all and sundry and give the belgian a wink lol Jokes lads..
Leeds aren't permitted to sign Stewart on a full time deal as per FA rules, the maximum allowed is a 93 day ''emergency'' loan. I suspect if Leeds were still keen to push this deal through, then they'd do so after the transfer window so that he would be available for the play offs, should they reach them. This could play in our favour should we be able to agree a deal with Hull as they may well want him off their books now and he might want his future sorted. That and he was settled in London.
That is interesting. Could you enlarge on that, Super? His loan with us has expired. He is a Hull player. Why cannot he sign for another club permanently with the agreement of all parties now the window is open?
Players are not allowed to play for more than two clubs in a season, he played for Ull in the Fizzy Pop Cup and 18 odd times for us but it seemsw that 93 day emergency loans are excluded from this rule
