He does have a dodgy interNet connection, but don`t worry he will return :1980_boogie_down:

  2. Obviously, I like the fact that Man Utd lost, but it is the first leg of a semi-final and has absolutely no benefit to us so I don't really care either. All its done is put more pressure on Moyes.

It's the accumulation of losses I think that makes it amusing. My Manc mates have a look of despairing bafflement on their faces. Like they woke up in the wrong universe.

Do you think the price of a seat would bother him? I would be dissapointed if he didn`t still enjoy a good bottle of red <ok>

After managing you so long and winning so much I'd say yeah, being charged the price of the seat might bother him lol.

As long as he's not drinking to escape. That can lead to problems...falling at his age can lead to hip replacements....

I am kind of starting to like getting excited about every win instead of just "special wins". I like the idea that every game is important, it takes me back to my youth. Don`t want it to last for more than a couple of seasons though, nostalgia is fine in small doses ;)

As I said on your Board, it's cycles. Although I can't see domination happening again the way it has before.

A few more games though and you'll be getting excited about the prospect of A win! ;)

It's just that none of them know what it's like to suffer, they don't know how to handle it, the variety of responses is comedy like cartoons, smoke coming out of ears, eyes spinning in sockets, not with pound signs but losses.

Won't be long before he's interviewed on Sky Sports ordering the Utd faithful to trust his judgment and support Moyes.<laugh>

I remember when Moyes was appointed and someone asked the question; 'would any other top team in the world [Braca, Real, Chelsea, Bayern, Arsenal etc] appoint David Moyes?'

The answer was obviously no. What do people expect.

Its certainly fun seeing Man United currently struggling but it almost feels inevitable.

It was inevitable. people are saying whats happening was unforeseeable in its extent... yet every lfc fan only needed look to hodgson to say exactly how easy it is to get it wrong.

the only disappointment is they got easy points in december when teams who needed points didn't bother to show up.. played reputation not the utd team. right now it looks like anyone giving it a go has a fair to middling chance of beating them.

I wonder if the FA will charge moyes for insinuating stuff about refs.... you can't say a refs location gives him bias but you can say a ref should have booked a player for diving not given a pen when he was not giving it til an unsighted linesman wrongly flagged... we'll see.

shocking how rafael was let away with murder and yet the refs are against moyes.

    but reality time

    look at this team

    de Gea
    Rafael Vidic Evans Evra
    Valencia Cleverley Carrick Januzaj
    Welbeck Giggs

vidic is on his way out... so is evra... evans is thier no 1 CB now... the same awful midfield pair that won a league? wellbeck... a 40 year old?

Without rooney they are awful. with him and RVP they have something to look forward and up to and that drags the rest out of the depression and jitters

UTd now need 8 players fast.... ferguson saw it coming, getting RVP got them through last year when everyone else was bloody awful... but he saw the end of his team coming and baled out.

Got to give Dave credit though. In his post-match interview, he was full of praise for the support of the manc fans and was at pains to say how much their support meant to him and the team.

It's obviously had a massive motivational effect, particularly over the last 3 games. Funny how refs have gone from 'hero to zero' in such a comparatively short space of time too.

Keep the support going lads <laugh>

City's cycle will also be finite though. As soon as they've served their purpose for their owners i.e. the global billboard for Abu Dhabi has resulted in it becoming akin to Dubai as a destination. Then they'll step back & leave it to self sufficiency, at which point, they to will drop back into the pack.

Exactly. I don't understand the people defending him saying you don't become a bad manager over night and he will come through etc, but he was never a good manager was he? He didn't do anything with the bitters, he took their mediocrity and made in mediocre. He plays poor football, but doesn't have a Pulis/Mourinho solidity to his ways.
He is sh!t, may his reign continue!!
