So why does he have this on his profile page?

Managing Director of Leeds United FC @LUFC, Chairman Leeds United Ladies FC @LeedsUnitedLFC, @makeawishuk Ambassador, Personal tweets.

And what difference does it make anyway if it's personal? Ask Paddy Kenny that one!

Because not everything he tweets about is going to be Leeds United related. He has other businesses (I assume) and also a personal life (I assume).

I refer the honourable gentleman to the Paddy Kenny reference. Personal account. Personal comment. Banned by LUFC from using it! Personal account, take note. Seems it does have a connection to Leeds. The word 'personal' does not absolve you from your club responsibilities & club profile maintenance. Ask Paddy! Oh, you can't - he's had to delete his account. Got to be MD to fcuk with the fans' minds.

Ofcourse your personal life has an effect on your working life, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist though. Simple fact is, not everything that Haigh tweets has to be about Leeds United

And to be honest, I don't even know why I'm arguing this. He clearly is tweeting about Leeds United in this current example <laugh>

Oh FFS!! There is absolutely nothing clever about the statement, all they're doing is confirming Flowers involvement ... everybody knows the club is simply waiting for the FL to ratify the deal and then its done ... there is nothing sinister going on, we finally have people in charge who care about Leeds United and are trying their best to move the club forward ... just because Haigh is a Tory doesn't mean he's trying to destroy our club, and politics shouldn't form the basis of an attack on the man who threw Bates out by the scruff of his neck ... as for transfer windows, we can only sign players who want to come here, and if I recall correctly McD missed out on four players in August because they chose to go elsewhere, and already in this window one player has chosen to go to a Prem club ... I for one don't want to do a Bolton and be £161m in debt, its just not worth it and counter productive in the long term, and we should know better than most ... I like the fact that the club is looking to push on by looking at its own Academy for talent, and this will benefit us tremendously in the long term ... for now I back Haigh and McD, they have done ever so well to right the ship after the destruction left behind by Bates and Warnock/Grayson so they deserve our patience and support ... nobody on here said promotion is achievable this season, and yet for us to be where we are is a good effort ... yes, Rochdale annoyed us but McD will have learnt a lot about his players on the day, and it was the lack of effort and desire that really shook him

..and it was the lack of early subs that shook us. Now I haven't a clue about positional play and formations, but even I was shouting at the telly to get the two wingers on, then he brings on Hunt who has been out with injury and did nothing for the remainder of the game.
Regarding all these twitter comments, I don't listen to rumour or stuff like that until I see it on the official club page. I also find very annoying when Maccer saying he's after so many players but 4 of them have gone to other clubs. Anyone can say things like that, we don't know if it's true and have to take it at face value. Personally I don't want to hear who we can't get and I'd rather hear when we've actually signed someone.

I got as far as discovering that they've got an excellent bar. By the time I ventured out into the bucketing rain, I wasn't capable of keeping up with play, so repaired to the bar for further refreshment.

I'm sure I mentioned I was going on one of the threads. Was going to PM you when I got to the bar (5 mins before opening!), but when I use my phone, I only seem to be in read-only mode for NOT606 for some reason. Hey ho! Anyway, the match was less painful for me than most of the LUFC massive. LOL. Very comfy couches for slumping into in that bar.
