Hate the way they form headlines. Forced? bollocks. 'Forced' and 'every player has their price' are very different things.

Redknapp sharking Remy on a permanent deal.

    Swap for Fletch?

Would give us a quality striker, & goals, & it would annoy our mates.

Not suggesting it'll ever happen, but it would be a decent idea!

No club has made a bid for Fletcher say SKY sports, surely we would want £8m for him, and get Defoe straight in (we should have had a striker in before tonight ) we could have blown yet another chance this season.

Fletcher's walk down the tunnel was probably his last appearance in a Sunderland shirt ........... he looked like he couldn't care less tonight and we played with 10 men.

Yep agree with everyone. Fletcher wasn't interested tonight replaced with Altidore and he looked ****, couldn't even get the line of the ball right when going up for a header. He is so out of his depth in the Premier league it's glaringly obvious.

I'm a massive Fletcher fan but he isn't giving me much to fight his corner tbh.

If his heart isn't with it then maybe its time to cash in. I thought he was just going through the motions tonight.

If the opportunity arises to sell Fletcher for 12m, I'd take it. But we need to buy a quality striker as his replacement. Someone who can use both feet and who will suit Poyet's style. Otherwise no use in selling

I've got to the point where I'm not fussed either way. He's not a great deal better than Papiss at the moment.

Poor tonight, but he looked like he was injured to me. When he went down he was asking the physio to be taken off.

I noticed that, didn't even let the physio look at him, just said he was off ............. tbf, Poyet looked like he was prepared and had the sub ready.

Someone with pace aplenty too. I think a fast pacy striker will suit the Poyet system and help us to break at pace for a change, rather than the lumbering fashion we break currently. I've seen Cathedrals built quicker than our attacks.
