But haven't we signed a long term lease on those. You can't just walk away even if it is a good idea

Let him sue, straight AFTER we have paid the Rugby club rent and entered admin. We aren't going up. Take the ten point hit and start with a clean slate on our own terms. Rangers are the better for doing it, and it is weakening everyone else in their leagues.

I know it's beer talk, but something radical needs to happen if bates is causing this.

looking at their accounts on their website, the holding company of Enterprise made about 3m profit. If I read them correctly - I was skimming quickly

If so, unless there are other richer members of the buyers, we are not being bought by loadsamoney owners.

Not a problem, so long as they are justaboutenuffmoney owners and they have the right priorities (i.e. the team)

Recycled spin. Let's get the paperwork over the line and the players signed on. I've had enough of what's not going on off the pitch!

Haigh can't let us enter administration. All his work and money spent to date would be lost. Know how you feel glory and I'm not drinking

The fat Tory and his ill gotten gains are of no consequence to any Leeds fans. If he cannot complete the TO and strengthen the team he needs to fold. If he loses his cash then tough ****, shouldn't have treated us as fools. He can always go back to watching scum if he is more into corporate games than football games. Season tickets will be cheaper there next season.

    Here comes your bad day.

**** me, talk about pessimism and spin from the reg's on here, winding the rest up. Next you'll be saying that Kennedy is still alive, in a secret hideaway with Elvis on Borneo.

Read the statement again - the tense of the verbs suggest that the due diligence has already been completed. It's now about crossing the i's and dotting the t's - ie getting the club at the price they want - and getting Football League approval - ie fit and proper person test and covering the various bases there.

So many of you have complained about GFH, now you have a name, and clarity, you all start on them.

Tomorrow Glory? Maybe, who knows, depends if I remember

Only spin is emanating from the club. Pessimism is understandable after two crap transfer windows under haighs stewardship. Let's see what standard of transfers they complete this time. That alone will encourage fans and not smug one liners on the club website

Sheldon, have to disagree with you re. the tenses. Although english is not my strong point, I was always taught in Latin that the past tense suggests a completed activity expressed by the verb. The statement is in past imperfect, which removes finality from the statement & implies that the activity continues currently. Bottom line - no finality in the statement.

Very, very clever wording, as we've come to expect from the spin merchants of GFH. No surprise there then.

Glory, if I make the match tomorrow night, how do I recognise you. Is there much moral high ground behing the Leeds dugout? <whistle>

Might be going with my youngest. Where's the best place to park? (Wetherby Bus Stop?).
