Only 16 goals!! Former Addick loanee, Obika grabbing 6 for Spurs in a 10-6 victory.

The Spurs site doesn't give a line up for us, but Sho Silva, Jordan, Azeez and one each from the Harriotts (the 6th goal didn't give a scorer) gives us an idea that it was a typical U-21 line up. Spurs had a strong outfit containing many of their summer signings, including £26million man - Erik Lamela

very astute super line up was as follows:
    Pope
    Fox Lennon Feely Muldoon
    Harriott Jordan Poyet Munns
    Piggott Sho Silva
    subs used
    Gerard, Azeez, Thomas

Basically Spurs had about £60mill + of players against our U21's current value £.25mill ??
Actually 10-6 overall ain't too bad when put in that perspective and 2nd half was 4-4 all so I reckon with a 3rd 45 we would have got the better of them ha ha

Or it would have been 34-21 <laugh>

Cheers for putting the team up. Where does everyone currently stand on obika? Sign him up, or hope RD has bigger plans?

It's difficult. Obika was ok with us last season but we need a proven goal scorer which he is not, we would need someone who's proved they can score it this level i.e. Ebanks-Blake or Sharp or maybe someone who has proved they can score in lower league football like BWP had. I still feel he could have done the job in the champ, we need someone we can rely on to score 15 + goals a season, Kermo can but I don't think that is the main aspect of his game, we need someone else. If we had a choice between Obika and another untried striker I would opt for the untried striker.

Bigger plans than a six goal a match man? Whatever we think, CP would love to sign him. But the new regime at Spurs may wish to hang on to him. I noticed he was on the bench for a first-team match the other day, which is a step up.

Pretty much our strongest u21 team. But where is Osborne? Injured? Left the club? I see we are trying Muldoon at right-back now.

Osborne is on loan to a non league club at the moment, I can't remember which one though.

Thanks. I see Dean Sinclair is there too. We may moan about our present squad but I don't think we have anyone that weak in it.
