Playing Cattermole instead of Ba is a big mistake though, he does not look backwards only forwards and passes forwards, and Cattermole cost us last week.

I agree, we have a fair bit of experience there so no excuses in that respect. Giggs needs to be taken out of the game, in my eyes, and that will stifle their game. Cattermole just needs to have one of his better games and stay on the pitch ............. if he does Ki can win the match for us.
I find it hard to understand why we ever leave AJ out. He's been less than brilliant but he's probably the most creative player we've got.
Whilst I'm happy with the starting line up I must admit to being a bit underwhelmed by the subs bench. If we need something a little different to catch them by suprisein the last 20 minutes who are we going to throw on? Colback? Gardner? Ji? They must be ****ting themselves... Surely even an inexperienced Watmore / Ba would be better options as they would be absolutely buzzing for it and determined to make their mark. Just don't see any options for us off the bench at all...

How many times have you seen Ba play? How can you say he deserves to start over Catts after making a good debut as a sub . He certainly looks one for the future but haway man !
I agree completely. Hard to believe that we were runners up in a competition five times in five years. All meaningless without a win though. We haven't won a trophy since the year I was born (and despite what you say it was a real one ) and I'd love to see us win something. I was actually at the first leg of that final by default. My dad dragged my pregnant mum along! Tonight is a great night for you whatever happens and just as you said, if you make it to Wembley I'll be jealous whether you win or lose - but would hate the fact that if you won you'd have bragging rights (temporarily on hold if you went down tho* - which I doubt you will). This is an inferior Man Utd team to the one that beat us, we're better and Kevin Ball was temporary manager ........... they only just beat us. I'm not saying we'll definitely win but we won't definitely lose.

Good line up, probably our strongest side. Lets hope we can get Giacc, Borini and Ki on the ball those 3 can make things happen. I am very nervous with JOS back in the side I would much rather Roberge or Diakite were playing. HAWAY lets give them an game and put them under pressure.
