Going to the toilet and washing your hands and realising how hygienic you are compared to some people.
The noise of away fans celebrating is something I love, but less so when it's against Saints. Seeing them all going wild, bouncing around and with the players usually in front of them celebrating too. It's awesome. Millwall away was awesome. We were all stood there praying that this would not be the penalty that Rickie would miss, in injury time... ...Rickie scored. 2-2. We went mental. Then he did it again. 2-3 to Southampton. I remember everyone just went mad and I was underneath a group hug of about seven Saints fans, when I knew just one of them!
Or grasp the handle with a paper towel, then ditch it in bin. Don't do it all the time, but have done in dodgy looking public toilets. Girls are probably cleaner than men to be honest anyway.
Waking up on Saturday morning knowing ill be at St Mary's, walking up the stairs hearing the away fans and then seeing the beautiful pitch, the players coming out with the stadium greeting them, the moment the Northam start to sing after kick off, coming back from going 1-0 down and visiting new grounds.
The moment just after the away fans in the Northam go mad and then gradually fade, because it was only the side netting or they hadn't spotted the offside flag.
The pubs and trains on the way to wembley for the JPT final, all red & white, all saints fans. Walking into a pub in London and the whole place singing a slow 'oooohhh wheeeennn theeee saaiinntss' The long journey up to old Trafford with a bad feeling we were going to get tonked.. And then scoring a 90th minute equaliser and everyone going mental. Getting laughed at when I said "Lambert and Lallana are good enough to play for England" when we were in League One and the championship - and the stick I gave all my mates when Lambert scored for England! But mostly St. Mary's week in, week out, it's always the highlight of the week walking up the steps. Drama, passion, banter with the away fans which is always hilarious. I really, really love football. Especially Saints.
I was a bit hungover during the Chelsea game and I went in the Chapel Arms afterwards with my dad (only had a coke), but I was on my knees being sick in the toilet and the floor was all wet when I went in there.
Oh LeGod NO..! They know it winds you up..? I'd change my seats next season. I couldn't stand that every sodding match.
Do you mean that you'll be sick or others will be sick or is that one hundred and eleven fans will turn up?
In things about football I love, it's having another team come to St Mary's to be run back out of town with their tails between their legs, telling sad stories of how they have been well and truly whipped. Sadly, we need a full strength side for this to happen with regularity, but we know the potential is always there. We haven't totally and utterly tonked anybody at St Mary's this season so far, but it's coming.
