Stolen form other football boards. Over the years we've built up a healthy resentment of a host of owners, players, managers, officials, journalists and probably more besides for actions against us or comments made about us. Use this thread to list those against whom you still harbour some rather malevolent thoughts.

I'll start the ball rolling with Ian Rush and Roger Milford - 17 March 1986 - I don't think any elaboration is required. <steam>

Was it not Roger Milford who also sent off Wilf Rostron for being pushed just before the FA Cup Final and thus prevented him from playing in one of the biggest days of his career?
 
Andy Gray for that goal at Wembley
Laurence Bassini for obvious reasons
Hollowhead likewise for obvious reasons
Vialli for bringing the club to its knees
 
Those idiots who tarnished our clubs good name in the fighting at the League Cup tie against L*t*n and the ones who have done the same by taking flares to recent games.

Chris Waddle - could never come to terms with the fact that Barnesey was a far better player than he'd ever be, had a massive grudge with GT and then constantly slated us.

Dave Bassett - anyone who could sell David Bardsley to Oxford at that time and then bring in Mark Morris and Gary chivers deserves to be put in a cage in the High Street where everyone can jab him with sharp sticks.
 
Of course Harry Bassett and Roger Milford should rank very high on the list, but going back a bit further, there were a couple of players at L*t*n during the 60s who I really loathed - John O'Rourke and Brian Lewis.

O'Rourke I hated for sitting on Pat Jennings whilst they scored the winner at the end of 63-64 which stopped us from having any chance of going up. He also scored the winning goal for Middlesbrough in the last game of the season when they pipped us by a point in 67!

Brian Lewis was a nasty, niggly sort of character with sly digs, kicks and fouls during every derby against us. It culminated in Tom Walley kicking him high into the air in the infamous derby at the Kennel in 69, being the third player to be sent off in that game. Poetic justice indeed!

Incidentally during the Liverpool cup-tie in 86 it was Dalglish as much as any of their players who was constantly in Milford's ear to give a penalty when they were losing. I lost what remaining respect I had for him and Liverpool after that match. It was so galling for John Barnes to go there a year later!

I don't know about others but he lost a little of his hero status for me the day he signed that contract. I agree about Dalglish but it was Rush who went down. That said, it always makes me laugh when people have a go at United players for disrespecting the ref. Liverpool were every bit as bad when they were winning everything. One of my best memories of away games was the one at Anfield in 1987 when the announcer had to tell the Kop that Everton had won the league. We went bonkers <laugh>

And Alan Slough in the same game - pulled Endean over backwards in a headlock in the penalty area and somehow managed to get him sent off instead of getting a penalty. Wish I could find that photo online...
 
Blimey, where do you start....Bassett, Baz, Pleat, Harford, Moss, Hoddle, Holloway, Ince, Colin, Eric Morecombe, Dalglish, Vauxhall Cars, Whitbread Beer....
 
Jsybarry ,our fans tarnished our club by clearing those lot off our pitch , did you try walking to the ground that day ? Did you see women kids fathers getting punched and spat at before and after the game ,
 
Plastic seats that you are supposed to sit on. Turnstyles where you cannot pay to get in. Bassett and Baz.
