Medro has been busy. He recently rescued people from a stranded ice breaker in Antartica, eased tensions in the Sudan war, prevented a mass murder by Islamists in the Nigerian oil fields, saved some Brazilian rain forest and assisted in the birth of a panda bear in Taiwan zoo. He'll be back among us soon enough for a well earned break.

Medro's peculiar brand of obsessive compulsive lunacy was one of the things that drew me to General Chat. Reading his threads was like watching a motorway pile-up in slow motion. Never failed to fascinate.
