    The death of BBC 606 is inadvertantley leading to the demise of not 606 (general chat) area anyway. Aunties demise has been good for not 606 football boards,but general chat has seen an upsurge in *****S, neither funny nor intellegent or even bigots just plain stupid ****s.

    I fear the days of the great dictators thread, wiping your arse thread etc. are but a distant memory:emoticon-0101-sadsm

    I'm also very disappointed. Not so long ago, GC was pretty much an exclusively Old Firm board. However, a consensus was reached that we'd confine OF related posts to the Rangers/Celtic boards in an effort to encourage more people to use GC. It was taken for granted that wider usage would improve the range and quality of debate. Unbelievably, the opposite appears to be true. <grr>

    To be fair, GC does go through lulls from time to time.

    When I first joined every other thread was titled 'Where is every ****?" because there were so few people. Then it picked up in the new year and it's been up and down since.

    I have to disagree about the Old Firm stuff. It was the same ****e day after day and nearly EVERYONE was ****ing sick of it.
