According to the guardian, they say we've agreed terms with Coentrao but Real Madrid don't want to sell him.
You wouldnt be able to agree terms with Coentrao unless Madrid had given you permission to speak to him. So the Guardian is talking rubbish. Thats what we did to Ashley Cole a few years back and got punished for, its call tapping up.
If a player's agent has a meeting with someone from any club and says he didn't discus his player or a move deal at the meeting its called being dishonest and clever.
Its not clever if you then tell the Guardian though is it If Madrid dont want to sell him, why on earth would they give United permission to speak to him? And if they didnt, and they have agreed terms anyway, United will be in big trouble. Either that or, as per my last post, The Guardian is talking out of its backside.....I think that is most likely.
A guy on five live last know who seems pretty clued up on all things Chelsea; said United had enquired about Mat's availability. Chelsea have said they won't sell to a rival but haven't rebuffed United completely because they are considering whether you are a rival now!! Seems a bit ridiculous as there is always next year etc but quite funny nonetheless. Can't see us selling to you unless it was a deal involving Rooney, would be madness.
If we're talking about this window, I agree. Might be a bit different in the summer if Rooney does an RVP though.
I smell another humuliating window with Moyes chasing after players who don't want to come to us, from clubs that don't want to sell. Once again the window will be about to slam shut and we'll end up with another Everton reject.
I see Baines is set to sign a new Everton deal, I mean, why would me make a move to a lower placed team in the league anyway. So now Moyes transfer shopping list is the following 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Baines is a fine player as is Fellaini when played in his best position off the forward. Moyes thought buying an attacking midfielder you didn't need was better than buying no-one. Moyes would probably have bought Baines and stuck him in goal.
