I wonder if he had a problem with Gareth bale giving arsenal fans a similar gesture when we lost at ****e fart drain last season ? Mug !
Tottenham forward Erik Lamela is talking to Italian side Inter Milan about a potential loan move, according to the Daily Star. The Argentina international, 21, has scored one goal in 17 games since a club-record £30m move from Roma in the summer. Oh dear......
That says it all about Daniel Levy and Baldini's 'masterstroke' plan to rebuild the spuds with the Bale money. Throw as much money at the wall and see what sticks, with absolutely no ****ing clue between them about what makes a good team. They are like the Chavs, they way they chuck their cash away, albeit without the success.
To be fair, a few of us were calling for Arsene to sign Lamela. He was class for Roma, just not working out at Spurs. The ironic thing is that most of Spurs new signings actually suit us better than them.
Therein lies the problem, he signed for the wrong club. Since they bought him they've hardly used him and played him in a disjointed team full of average wannabes. No wonder the lad wants out already. Maybe we should put in a cheeky £13m and give the lad a future.
If the Spuds fail to get CL football again I think there will be some massive discontentment amongst their players. Out of their new signings would you have any of them at Arsenal ? and which ones ?
Depends how well the players do at the World Cup. If Brazil win it (which seems likely) Paulinho will go for sure. The profile and stock of that type of player will go up tenfold and that would entice some of the bigger clubs I think Paulinho is the only player they'll have to fight to keep hold of. Perhaps Vertonghen too if Belgium have a good World Cup.
The two you mention are their best players now. I'd like see Vertonghen at Arsenal, even though the silly **** chose Spurs over us. He can play across the back line and is very versatile. Paulinho is the type of player that Man Utd should have bought instead of Donkey Fellani.
Capoue - always rated him, big physical presence, versatile, good for squad depth Lamela - The ability is there, just needs an environment to showcase it Soldildo - again, good player in the wrong system. You don't just forget how to score goals.
Erik Lamela wants to quit Tottenham, reveals father Jose Lamela Oh dear when you think things couldn't get any worse, a player wants out after half a season with the Spuds. I agree with a few here, maybe we should come in for a cheeky LOW bid. He is a quality player, just playing for the wrong team. With all our skilful players and attacking sense of our team would suit him.
If you're good enough you will adjust. It's not exactly that we have beastly players, they have learnt to adjust and more importantly, they play under a manager and system that suits them.
Including Soldildo, that's the best part of 60m spunked up the wall on those two players alone. If I were a Spurs fan and believe me Hell would freeze over first, I would be absolutely ****ing livid with Levy and Baldini. Not only did they force AVB's hand on transfers he didn't want, but they then sacked him for their own mistakes. Levy is a grade A ****, but I suppose he's at the right club ....
I'm not a huge fan of Vertonghen. Not only does he seem a little injury-prone, but he also seems to get a lot of credit for his attacking, when he needs to be better at defending. He is one of those players that isn't fast enough to play LB, but not good enough defensively to be a top-class CB. I like the idea of him, but he doesn't seem like he is the very best at either position. Can't see him getting ahead of any of our 3 CBs, or our 2 left backs.
