I think Barry has a chance but wonder if he is a little slow.

I expect that England will take five strikers, perhaps someone like Defoe if he goes elsewhere and gets some goals.

 

Or Sterling and Redmond? As long as it is not Morrison!

 

Can't look beyond Sterling at the moment, but I'm not in any way convinced he can keep this form up, and he really needs to improve his finishing.

The truth is, Walcott is easily our best wide forward, admittedly his touch often lets him down, but he is so direct. He causes havoc for defences. This is a big blow for England and Arsenal IMO.

 

Suarez makes Sterling look good.

 

I don't rate Sterling that highly to be honest.

OXO could do the same job if he recovers from injury. He's practically as fast and has more skill and guile.

Roy's choices for the right will be Lallana, Townsend, Sterling, Chamberlain, Redmond and ****ing Milner. Hopefully not ****ing Milner.

Townsend - all fart. runs and then gives the ball away. Has a long way to go.
And as much as I love Jrod and Lallana, theo is much more of a threat. He gets a load of stick, but his record is undeniable. Plus people forget that Walcott is the same age as JRod, so he still has a lot of time to grow. Have to hope our wide players can step up before Brazil.
