    Just our ****ing luck. Our young winger gets into great form and our injured winger is about to return and our best winger gets injured.

    He's probably gonna miss the world cup as well. England without their best winger. It's not great :(

    Has he got through a campaign without a lengthy lay off?
    Sad, he misses the World Cup too!

    Hopefully Gnarby or the Ox when he's back can step up to the challenge. With Gnarby, even though he's blessed with pace Gnarby doesn't seem to be threat getting in and behind the defence he seems to like getting the ball to feet thats why I think will miss Theo.

    Sad for Walcott. Our best chance to win the league in a while and he's out for the entire season. I hope for his sake that he gets back to fitness for the World cup, it wouldn't be fair on him.

    Now, will this make Wenger more focussed on getting a replacement in this transfer window. It's a big blow to lose one of our best players and it's unfair to put too much pressure on Gnarby as it's his breakthrough season. Oxo is scheduled to come back but the big question is, will he be playing well enough?

    At least Ox is back and Gnabry is playing well so that should mitigate the damage of losing Theo.

    he was taken to the 2006 world cup and not used;
    he wasn't taken to the 2010 world cup
    he will probably miss the 2014 world cup....
    that's some seriously bad luck football wise.

    don't like players to be out injured for such a long time...

    I don't think that Wenger will sign other midfielder even though I think he should. He believes we have surplus talented midfielders.

    Karma for laughing at them as they threw coins at him and the stewards.

    You would think the morons would be used to people laughing at them by now .

    As somebody just mentioned to me, 6 months is usually the minimum period required for cruciate ligament recovery. Expect it to be 9-12 months before he is fully fit again. Terrible news.

    That leaves Podolski as our only fit option at the striker position.

    If we don't bring in a striker now, it'll be incomprehensible.

    Unfortunately (and I mean that) cruciate ligament injuries can affect pace, and for someone who, to some extent, relies on it, this is bad news.
