Good signing IMO. Can score goals at this level and we need other options upfront. Very happy with this!

Think most signings will be loans for a while at least. We dont need any more white Oliphants
It worked out quite well for Williams, and of course Fonts was a loan which turned into a signing, and may yet turn out to be a sound investment (he said with fingers and toes crossed)

Is this not the guy who "did"Cunningham last season? Wonder what Greg will thin?

We are only 17 points behind them. Stranger things have happened...

Here's the reply I got when I asked on the Posh board whether he is any good:

If you play 'long ball' football up to a tall striker who can win the ball in the air and lay it off or hold up to bring
other players in then he is useful, though he can look a bit lethargic and lazy.

Also an excellent defender during corners and set pieces thanks to his height and heading ability - he cost us over £1 million
but he does not suit our style of play, ball played out from the back and kept on the floor most of the time with a midfield diamond and 2 up front.

(He was also involved in some off-field shenanigans in Peterborough City centre last year along with Emile Sinclair and Nat Mendez-Laing).

So with 2 wins in the last 9 games in Division 1, that style must be working for Peterborough then ? Marginally more successful than it did for us under SoD.

Not sure this 'lauded' approach by the Posh fan is going to do them much good in the end. You have to be more direct in League 1.
