Here's an extract from an article.

    If politics is all about priorities then the people of Scotland have given their verdict on where they think Alex Salmond’s lie.

    A new poll of over 1000 Scottish adults published today by YouGov, commissioned by Better Together, confirmed that the vast majority of people in Scotland want Alex Salmond to use the powers of the Scottish Parliament to act today on childcare rather than waiting for independence.

    When the SNP published their White Paper manifesto for breaking up the UK back in November, they said that improving childcare would be a priority in an independent Scotland. What Alex Salmond didn’t say was that he could make this a priority today since the Scottish Parliament already has responsibility for childcare.

    64% of those surveyed by YouGov said that Alex Salmond and the Scottish Government should use the powers they already have to deliver improved childcare. 66% of women surveyed agreed with this.

    In a further blow to the nationalists, 45% of those who voted for the SNP at the 2011 Scottish Parliament election said they should get on with using the powers they already have rather than waiting for independence.

    Why can’t Alex Salmond put the priorities of the people of Scotland ahead of his own obsession with independence?

    I make you right. if there's more forecast of economic doom and threats of benefit cuts and other spending restrictions it's going to push more people into the Yes camp. I'm personally worried that there seems to be no coherent plan for what the rest of us will do in the event that you do vote yes - if there is one they don't appear to be too eager to tell us. Sitting with your fingers in your ears shouting "not listening la la la" and saying "of course they'll vote no - don't worry about it" doesn't strike me as being a particular sensible government policy.

    And don't me started on Sturgeon. She is the MP for my sister's district in Glasgow and is a useless ****.

    Simple really Dan. Our politicians are too busy digging the UK out of the mess Labour left us in, in other words they're doing their job unlike Fat **** Salmond who is holding back because of his obsession.

    Fact is Salmond already heads up a strong Scottish Parliament taking key decisions about schools, hospitals and childcare to name but a few.

    <rofl>

    Thing is, I was genuinely one of the 'No' voters several months back, but on almost every article there's clowns mouthing off about Scotland...I now feel unloved, pushed away and can only reconcile my feelings by the mutual love amongst my fellow Scots.

    It's a messy break-up but once it's over and you bastards clear your stuff out, it'll be a fresh start. You're welcome to stay over though Dan <ok>
