    Saturday evening's 606 was pretty good as well. The major subjects were the magic, or lack of magic in the FA Cup, the ability of players to be tired, whilst playing fewer games, compared to years ago, and the salaries players are played compared to the expectations of supporters.

    It was interesting, and I was quite surprised by the apparent ignorance that presenters Darren Fletcher and Jason Roberts displayed, although they seemed to wisen up near the end of the programme. Plus, there were quite a few erudite callers who regularly hit several nails on the head.

    I have just about had all I can take.

    Can anyone please tell me how I can stop the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov singing Hymns and Arias all the bloody time.

    She hasn't stopped since Swansea knocked out that mid table team from Manchester.

    I was going to say "Tell her to put a sock in it" but that might be taken the wrong way. Perhaps OWTS at full volume on your gramophone might do the trick.
