According to YEP the deal will be done this week and he's expected to play at the weekend. So he may be shyte, he may be great, but the one thing he is, is he's free (Fingers crossed)
By all accounts we are having a massive clearout to help pay for some of our incoming players, so I cant see him being released on a fee. I would expect (or hope) it to be a similar fee to that we managed to get for Cairney (500-600k)
You have to admit, that is a bargain for someone with undoubted potential. If a manager is willing to gamble, they could have a very good player on their hands for next to nothing. Although based on his performances these last two years, you can see why you value him so low.
He's one that could go either way, he definitely has some talent, but too often wastes it by losing the ball with too many step-overs, or simply pansying out of a tackle. Personally, I think he'll be in League One in a year. Hopefully with Leeds. ARF!
