Maybe it's the drink on board,or I'm an eternal optimist,or just plain mad,but I've backed my beloved SAFC to win the FA cup at 54/1,and to win the Capital One cup at 16.5/1.To me,two great value for money bets!Am I mad,or not?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Capital One cup seems like good odds to be fair. United aren't exactly the force they have been previously so I'd say you had a decent chance of making the final, then anything can happen on the day.

FA Cup again has good odds but there's just too many other teams in who can perform. Liverpool, without Europe to distract and following the inevitable dip in the league, would be my bet for that.

ps. It's never mad to back your team even if logic suggests otherwise. The adage that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result would render millions of us mental just for turning up to support our teams expecting a half-decent performance and, heaven help us, result.

If you'd put a single bet on for us to win both I'd say you're mad.

Who's to say we couldn't win one? Wigan did for ****s sake, we're overdue something to celebrate.

haslam,it was the odds that attracted me,in both instances.....if we beat Man.Utd on Tuesday,I can lay the bet off at shorter odds, and if we get a decent draw in the FA Cup,providing we win the 4th round tie,our odds will shorten again!!

Just lay it as a double. I'll take a look.

If it's as he says. 16.5/1 and 54/1 then the double would be 945/1 <ok>
