As far as I'm aware we are Hull City Association Football Club, do you know something different? p.s you have AFC in your signature
See the many previous discussions on this topic. As recently as last month, the Arsenal programme had AFC v HCFC printed at the top of each page of their programme.
I'm sure Brownie will be applauded when he walks out, then if we're winning he'll probably get a chant of 'you'll be on gardening leave in the morning, gardening leave in the morning' etc. That's football.
I think had it not been for that first time, we probably wouldn't be where we are today, winning the playoffs was taking the next big step as a club, ever since we've just been finding our feet on it.
Another fine win for Browny yesterday takes Southend to within 3 points of the top of their league. Well done to him. A chance next week for our reserves to progress in the FA cup down there but we all know our priority this season so a loss is no big deal. If only he could have brought in the sort of players Brucie has he could have been back out on the pitch after that second PL season singing another wonderful song. I'm still not convinced all the players brought in were Browny's idea. Here's to you Browny...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlmOD6KLF8c
Point taken. See how I was sucked in to believing his optimistic post match interviews. http://www.resultdb.com/england/hull-city/2008/ http://www.resultdb.com/england/hull-city/2009/ This Saturday at Southend could be the last FA cup game for Hull City AFC. I see the bookies have Hull Tigers to be the new name for the start of the 2014/2015 season at 1/4 (means it's a strong possibility in their opinion). What song do you think Phil will sing to you all after the Southend game ? I'll go for....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndnslvOe3ig
I shall return .... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...-s-Phil-Brown-dreams-of-Premier-League-return
Phil Brown finally finds someone who shares his vision and admits to having a crush on rivers. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-the-premier-league-for-20-years-9078606.html
I havent bothered reading this thread so apologies if it's already come up....but am I the only one who fully expects a home win tomorrow?
Im sorry but that's absolute bollox churned out at the time by the club and players. What else were they going to say? "The managre made us look like a tit in front of watching millions around the world and we lost all respect for him'? Of course they werent going to say that. And we were getting stuffed at half time and they were home and dry, shock horror then that they eased off 2nd half. I mean, that never happens unless you've had an inspiring teamtalk... I was very closely involved at the club at the time and I know for a fact he lost a lot of players that day.
