    Why can't we find young talent like Patterson instead of looking to pay big money 30 year olds.

    There must be loads of descent young players itching to join a good club.

    So Harry go forth and ask your coaching staff to get their fingers out.

    It's the scouting staff's job, unfortunately ours are members of the Blind League...

    Redknapp doesn't do tactics, doesn't bring on players, all he does is try to buy better ones than he already has.

    Our coaching is awful.

    Young = hungry; like Charlie

    Old = hungry; like Clint

    Its not age that makes players hungry, its character

    Hill is on his last legs, Austin is good for five plus years.

    You can have one or two like hill, not 10-12 like we currently have.

    If we had 10 - 12 like Hill we'd be top of the league, but really worried about next season.

    I totally agree about the coaching staff though.

    You can't build a team turning over half the squad every season, there should be a maximum of five ins every year and they should all be clear starters unless they are very young, no old players worse than what we already have like henry and O'Neill.

    Keep the younger players like Faurlin and Hoilett even if they are relegated to a back up role.

    I have had youngsters work for me that lacked any drive or hunger and others who wanted to learn and put in the hours. Mature guys who were lazy but demanded a high day rate as they were no longer kids, and some who had always and will always be dedicated and offer good value for money. It is the individuals character and how the manager utilises them.
    From what I can see Harry is an old man with one trick (creating team spirit), what we need is a manager who can encourage players, identify their weaknessess and improve them, put together a team of individuals who pull in the same direction, and can see what tatical changes need to be made during a game. Simple id say!
    Put the correct manager in place and let him build the team.....Harry Out...

    Perhaps that's why Harry had Steve McClaren there - he seemed to do that with Hoilett, not sure if Mr. Invisible, Wally Downes, has that same capability.
