By continually swapping the team around and dropping players as that is laudrups way he is use to has ruined any consistency and confidence the players gain from any good result. We must start to pick a settled side and play them more than one game, I cannot see the point of spoiling the line up if there is no need to. It does upset the players as they cant form a continuous understanding with any one player and mistakes are made. A settled side who play regular together will beat a side that don't nearly every time...
Manure Lindegaard; Smalling, Evans, Ferdinand, Büttner; Valencia, Fletcher, Cleverley, Kagawa; Welbeck, Hernandez. SUBS: De Gea, Fabio, Anderson, Carrick, Giggs, Zaha, Januzaj.
Agree with everyone on playing a first choice team and going for it. Try and get some consistency, especially as it's a rehearsal for next week. Surely we have a good chance of taking something from either or both games if we're positive. So Donnelly on the subs bench, hope he gets preference over Vasquez. Strange that both are subs, what's the thinking there?
We're hanging on at the moment. I don't want to see Bony back all the time. If we lose this then it's not the end of the world but if we continue to be camped in our own half then Utd will win easily, so we'll lose anyway. We may as well just go for it and try and push on but with a bit more zip. Next week's the important game, use this one as preparation.
I want to see Tiendali run at the defence and not stop when we are attacking! Would enjoy a win if we could do it, but would not be upset if we lose, I would want us to have a good crack next week for the points!
Chico is like most of our players - brilliant one minute, shocking the next. So frustrating. I expect us to lose this but we've played well first half against a very good side. Great goals.
Just got in to see the goals, excellent goal from Routledge & some dodgy defending for theirs. Would like to see you guys win this one.
