Would love to see this happen, but can't see him joining us with only six months left on his contract and his father saying he won't be leaving before the end of season. I believe this is a smokescreen on HJ part and has his irons in different fires.
Would be an excellent signing - he's a Brit which makes a nice change and can play a bit. Will learn a lot under our Manager and can bring something fresh to the team. Dyer might not be happy though. I'd like to know the fee to be honest but I'm still a tad sceptical - didn't he turn Cardiff down as he didn't want to move from the North West?
He is exactly what I think we need. A genuine left footed, winger who'll provide pace and goals. The fact he'll add to our core of home grown players is also a big bonus (Ben Davies, Ash, Leon, Shelvey, Dyer, Routledge, and Ince would all figure in the first XI regularly...a lot of clubs' HG contingent are youngsters who are just there to satisfy the quota). Hope we pull this off but I imagine we'll be sweating on this down to the wire....wonder who's 2nd on the list.
Swansea look set to beat Liverpool to the signing of Tom Ince after confirming they are in negotiations with Blackpool for the winger. Ince is considered one of the best players in the lower leagues, having scored a flood of goals for the Tangerines in recent seasons. Former club Liverpool have twice made approaches to sign him, while Ince rejected the chance to join Cardiff City last summer.
Nothing is done until see him holding the shirt. Remember Aspas? And this is same guy who was negotiating with Cardiff for a long time. My tune will change if we see him sign though.
On a sad note the great Eusabio has passed away aged 71. What a great player he was that all the older fans will have seen this player dazzle defences with his skill in the 66 world cup.
Most of today's followers of the game can't see beyond Messi and Ronaldo,but "The Black Panther", as Eusebio was lovingly referred to, was head and shoulders above the both of them. 733 goals in 745 games,says it all really. Fantastic player,and universally admired and respected. RIP.
Eusebio is rightfully in the top 10 but come on, Ronaldo and Messi are there as well. I would rate them both better in fact, as there goal scoring consistency for the last four seasons is now unmatched in the Top four European leagues. They are scoring more goals than games they play for over 200 games.
Not a chance in hell project they had it all and not playing with a bag of wind either. pele and eusabio could teach today's players a thing or two without trying to cheat with every trick in the book to win games. They played in the true spirit of the game and used their skills rather than falling over when tackled for no reason to win a foul. If they were tackled they would not cry like a baby, they would get straight back up and get on with it....
Ronaldo and Messi are great player's,no doubt about that,but I would select Eusebio before either of them.
And both Ronaldo and Messi were much faster and fitter than anyone from back in Eusebio's day, they'd leave them all for dust. However, Eusebio in todays game would dive and Messi/Ronaldo in Eusebio's day wouldn't. That is how it is and as usual your opinion is null and void.

DaiSwan, wrong again. If there was an Olympic event for being wrong you'd be the all time record holder for gold medals, it is why nobody here respects you. They were fast for the time but today the average paced player is as fast as the fastest in Eusebio's and Pele's day.
