Well it's in the Daily Mail so it MUST be true Seriously though, as much as I've nailed my colours firmly to the mast re the present manager, I really don't think this would be a good move. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2533943/Malky-Mackay-former-club-Norwich-City.html At least someone has put their name to the article and it's not written by 'sportsmail reporter' even if it is all total bollocks
I hope we don't get Mackay. I want Hughton out as soon as possible, but I think we can aim higher than that.
If true, it´ll be a total knee-jerk reaction, which doesn´t fit with my picture of McNally, as much as I loved him as a player, Malky´s done nothing yet to suggest that he is going to be a successful PL manager anytime soon, but then if you believe the Mail, you´ll believe anything
Absolute no to MacKay, no different to Hughton. Next manager has got to be the next level up. No point in getting rid of Hughton otherwise.
But when we played Cardiff before xmas, he didn't so much park the bus as park a frickin jumbo jet? Two defensive subs before half time? I can't see how those calling for Hughton to go would be at peace with that type of decision making?
We never park the bus do we then? Personally I don't think we attract much better if hughton was to go
I also wouldn't want Malky as its like for like, although I suspect he might be a little more inspirational than CH. However to call it knee jerk! Your havin a laugh, this long slow period of negligible on pitch improvement suggests they have been patient to a fault! But then that's just my opinion! Bah!
Knee-jerk, in the sense that it would be an emotional appointment ( him being an old player and all) rather than an analytical one.
I would rather we just did absolutely nothing and hope that 3 clubs implode 1 Hammers 2 Sunderland 3 Baggies.. To drop. Solskjaer will keep the Taffies up
Only for a couple of games Max. if form and style did not pick up then the shadow would return too quickly and we would be back to where we are now - but worse in that you would have Mackay with CH's squad.
Taking the maulings at Liverpool and Citeh out of the equation and when we had a fit Tettey and Howson, I felt there was an improvement. Hopefully, both should return later this month, allowing Fer to play further forward which suits his game more and feed whoever is playing in the striker role. WE MUST IMPROVE SERVICE TO THE STRIKER(S)!!!
